MEAL CARDS
Lee University Dining Services uses student IDs as part of the campus wide card system for meal plan usage. Students are required to swipe their IDs in order to dine at all our locations on campus. Meals are non-transferable and may be used only by the meal plan participant.
WELCOME, GUESTS
Have a guest over for dinner! You are welcome to bring a friend or family member for any meal. You can use your Declining Balance account or flex dollars for your guest.
MEAL EQUIVALENCY
Lee University Dining Services offers the convenience of using one of your meals anytime at Chick fil-A, Jazzman’s Café, Subway, Einstein’s Bros Bagel and Dunkin Donuts. Your meal can be exchanged for $4.05 towards the purchase of any retail meal.
If your purchase exceeds $4.05, you will need to make up the remaining balance with Declining Balance, Flex Dollars or cash. No change will be returned if your purchase is below $4.05.
*Please note that meal equivalency, like regular meals at the dining hall, can only be used once every two hours, for a maximum of three times per day. There are no restrictions for flex purchases.Dietary Needs
Lee Dining Services can accommodate special dietary requirements. Just call us at (423) 614-8587

Meal Plans. Which one will work best for me?
All of the four Meal Plans include a set number of visits per week to the Deacon Jones Dining Hall (ie. 15 Meals per week). This is the maximum number of dining hall visits per week allowed on each plan. You can still access the dining hall if you exceed your predetermined number of visits; however you must pay with cash, credit card, Declining Balance or flex dollars for each visit beyond that weekly allowance. The most appropriate meal plan will be a plan that offers weekly visits consistent with the number of meals you would eat on campus each week. Moreover, each meal plan has a set amount of Flex Dollars per semester. These flex dollars can be used for food at any of the campus retail outlets. Meal visits reset on Friday morning of each week so you start the week off fully loaded.
Block Plans. What are they?
Block Meal Plans are simply a block of meals that are debited each time you use one. These plans are based on a semester (usually 16 weeks) of usage. You may use these meals anytime you wish, but only at the dining hall. Flex Dollars can be used to purchase items at the retail venues. Block Plans expire at the end of each semester or when the last available meal is used.
